Life is a Yummy Waffle

My Mom's side of the family has a gathering and dinner once every 3 months, the dinner happened a couple of weeks ago. We had yummy waffles, cinnamon sauce, and sausage. It happened to be when Becky, Aubrey, and Parker were still in town (yeah!). Mom wanted to take some pictures of all the cousins, we greatly missed Miss C but the pictures turned out cute and displayed the personalities of the kids all very well.

This one cracks me up every time I look at it.

Meeting the Baby

Becky, Aubrey, and Parker were in two for a couple of weeks because Becky's sister was getting married. They stopped by for an afternoon visit on my day off, I loved seeing them and getting meet Parker for the first time...he is as cute as I expected! Aubrey is just as chatty as ever andher conversations are becoming more complete and Parker has the most beautiful smile that lights up his whole face! I miss them all but I was so happy to get to see them a few times before they left again.

Flowers for You

A little late in posting this...actually really late- the flowers have already died :(

But I wanted to let some very special people in my life know that I love them and am so grateful for them, their example and for the wonderful mothers that they are to me, my siblings, my nieces and nephews.

The 13th

The 13th of May is a very busy day on my calendar, it is the wedding anniversary of my brother and Sister-in-law Joel and Becky (4 years already!) and the birthday's of two of my dear friends Leah and Erika.

Leah is an old friend, we have done lots of fun and random things together and no matter how

far spread out our talk/hang out time are we always pick up like there was no time between. Erika is a newer friend, I was lucky to have her has my room-roommate freshman year. I love having her as a friend and as an example.

Mission Call...

No not my mission call you silly. Today my roommate Becky got her mission call, I am super excited for her. Guess where she is going..............TAIWAN!!!! Ahh, of all the places to go, Taiwan just seems to be our apartments country- not only did I do my internship there, but also Summer taught English through a different program there and now Becky is going there on her mission. She will not be going to the same area that I was in-I was in the Taipei Mission and she will be going to the Taiwan Kaohsiung Mission. I am still super excited for her..CONGRATULATIONS BECKY!!!
