Are You Happy?

Yesterday morning I saw this on youtube. It is an adorable movie with the cutest 3 year old and I spent part of the movie laughing and crying. You don't have to watch it, I know that not everyone gets excited about watching 9 and a half minutes of Chinese.

My favorite part comes at the end when one of the judges asked the little boy why he wants to dance and he replies "Because I like dancing. When I dance, my mom laughs. My mom says laughing is happiness." Another judge then said, "Tell me, what is your dream?" He replied, "My dream is...to make people happy because I'm happy. Are you happy?"

Such wisdom from a three year old. I love it, I want to keep this as a reminder to always ask myself if I am doing something that is making me laugh and making me happy.

of course after watching that I had to see what else they did, I liked these two...I think that the fireworks one is my favorite though!

To Become Like Him

I have always been a big fan of Jenny Phillips ever since I discovered her in high school when preparing for a girls camp program. She produces beautiful, inspirational music and firesides to go with them. This movie is no exception, we have such a wonderful example and we should spend our life striving to become more like him.

Who You Gonna Call?

I've had a couple of youtube links sitting open in my browser for close to a week now, waiting to share, but haven't had the time to do it. I had 3 of my 4 tutor students cancel today, so I think that I have the time :D

If you haven't figured out by now I love improv or flash mob things people do and love to share them with others (count yourself lucky I don't even show a fraction of what I watch). I just had to show this one, I love The Ghostbusters and used to watch them often (this made me feel like watching them all again) and thought that it was really cool that they did it where the original scene was filmed. Enjoy!

Glowing in the Darkness

A blog that I read shared this today, she mentioned it that she saw it through NieNie, so some of you may have seen it already. I think that it is really beautiful, I had never heard the song before but I like it and I really like what the youth did. I hope that they had fun making it, it really is a wholesome message.

The Pen Story

This movie is super cool, all the pictures they used are quite amazing. The time and effort that was put into this to tell the story--I wish that I had the imagination and talent to make something like this.

One Question

This group asked 50 people in London "Where would you want to wake up?" One guy answered with some cuss words that I didn't appreciate, but it was amazing to see the wide difference in responses that people gave. Some were very worldly answers while others were more on the not exactly spiritual side but but somewhat.

Cereal Boredom

I used to work with Derek when I worked at the Canon Center on campus...I would say that someone was a little bored but it was pretty cool too! The things that people think of in happy valley :D

Song Hybrid

Have you ever heard of Jon Schmidt? He's an amazing pianist that plays a lot of the music for EFY (Especially for Youth--a Church Youth Program) and other stuff to. He decided to take Love Song by Taylor Swift and Viva La Vida by Coldplay (sorry youtube wouldn't let me embed them) and made this:



I think that it is really pretty and they a lot better together than I would have ever thought that they would.
