Cambodia--the Adventure!

Can you believe it's been almost two months since I went to Cambodia? And I haven't even begun to cover it (and believe me there is a lot of covering to do!)...ahhh!! But it starts now, I accidentally left my book with all of my journal notes at my Mom's house, so for now I'm just going to start adding pictures and then when I get the book I will add the journaling.

Look how happy we are despite having already been up for several hours and being a little nervous about finding our group.

Yeah we had already been awake for several hours by this time. I think we had to be at the airport by 6:30ish and had to leave an hour before that from the apartment where we were staying.

Our airplane that we walked from...isn't that crazy that we had to walk inside from the airplane? There were only 3 gates in the airport.

Pinata Hat

Who knew that a broken pinata could be so much fun or make an awesome hat? I have a picture from last time with a broken pinata on my head, so of course I had to do it again. Very quickly several others wanted to try it too!

Beussical Sirthday!

I look at the amazing things that people can do with words and wish that I had that talent, but alas it is not meant to be :( One person that has the talent of working with words is Dr. Suess, this week was his birthday and in honor of it being so Andrea and I decided to make our morning class theme based off of his books (we were going to do our afternoon class but we now must have the same theme as the Chinese classes). I had brought several hats of my Dad's that I had inherited, not sure if I would use them but knew that a good hat is always something you should have. I decided to do something with them this week, based loosely off Cat in the Hat. I had balls and we used the different hats as baskets. But before Wednesday came of course I had to play with the hats and be, well, you know...ME! :D
