Fun On A Wave

One of the perks of working at Trafalga is that I get to have a free Pass of All Passes which includes getting to go to Seven Peaks as many times as I would like to without having to pay. I also get some free day passes to share with friends and family. Two weeks ago when Kyle was here I had Friday off and we decided to go to Seven Peaks. We invited Libbey and kids plus my friends Erin and Brea (plus their babies). We all met up and had a comfortable spot in the shade and had a fun day until it was nap time and time for work.

Allisyn all ready to hit the water again (she even had the sunscreen out and ready for someone to help her :D)...P.S. that swimsuit she is wearing? I gave it to "her" the day after she was born.

Erin looking all cute and smiley. I missed her so much while they were in New York and it was so much fun to see her again and catch up.

Addie-Bug, poor baby we accidently put the wrong sunscreen on her and with the water it got into her eyes...they were a little red :(
Kyle, it was kind of a long day for him---he had some dental work done a few days before that and was a little bit drugged up.

Brea

Allisyn was so funny! I had brought a bag of goldfish to share with everyone, it was in my lap and I kept on giving her a couple at a time. I looked away for a few seconds and looked back to find the bag was out of my lap and in hers instead. The best part was at the beginning she would just sit and watch as Lexie and Addie would get goldfish out of the bag but she quickly got over her "shyness" and grabbed them herself :)

My HOTT sister :)

Jacob got a little cold every time after they got out of the water. Good thing he had Aunt Lily to help warm and dry him up.

Our "spot." I hadn't realized how much space we were taking up until we all got up to leave.

We took some pictures of the girls all together and their moms as soon as they were done Addie and Alli decided that they wanted to walk down to me.

We went on the lazy river and both Addie and Alli fell asleep...if only my life was that easy.

Wanda's Birthday

Last week was Wanda's birthday and we went out to dinner for pizza at Red Brick Oven...we had a yummy BBQ Chicken Pineapple, Hawaiian, and Supreme.

Brea and Darrell...one picture is funny by himself but it's even funnier when you look at all three together.

Kimberly...classic picture

Homemade rootbeer

My cute new shirt! (and me texting Kyle about the masquerade that he was at)

The birthday girl! (while we were there we heard at least 2 other people get sung to for their birthday and I had two other friends too!)

Good Addilyn...sleeping away :D

Capital Reef National Park

Even though Jacob fell asleep I didn't want to waste driving out there, so I stopped and took some pictures. Some better than others :D

*There are many more but I didn't want you to get sick of them and if ever you have the chance to go you wouldn't want to have seen it all in pictures.

Good Ol' Bicknell!

Several weeks ago Libbey asked me if I wanted to join her and Jacob on a "business trip," I would be going and watching Jacob while she was at work. It sounded fun for me and I didn't have any other responsibilities yet, so I said that I would join her. We headed past Provo to a small place called Bicknell, UT...for those who've always thought that Toledo was small you haven't seen anything yet until you've been to Bicknell. I believe that the whole county is smaller than Toledo, but I could be wrong.
We went up Tuesday afternoon, grabbed some dinner, went swimming, watched a movie and then went to bed.
Wednesday Libbey had to go to work, so we all ate breakfast together and then she headed out. Jacob and I went swimming for awhile but then he really wanted to go back to the room so that he could watch Aladdin again (he had watched it for the first time the night before and really wanted to watch it again). So we watched Aladdin and then it was time for lunch. We all went to a diner (where they serve black bean pie? Sounds disgusting to me!) and then we took Libbey back to the clinic where she was working.
I had read some about the Capitol Reef National Park, how it was supposed to be really beautiful and that you could even pick fresh fruit. I thought that it sounded pretty cool and so we headed up there (Jacob got even more excited when he was told that there might be some horses that he could feed).
We were about 3 minutes from the visitors center when I looked back and saw this:

It kind of had made me laugh because Libbey had thought that he should be tired but he wasn't acting like it, but the moment I was silent and stopped talking to him for a few minutes he zonked out. I finally found where you could pick the fruit, it wasn't free like the brochure had said it would be and you had to park and walk into where you picked the fruit- I didn't really want to leave Jacob in the car by himself so I decided to just drive around and take some pictures of the area before it was time to head back and pick up Libbey. What a gorgeous place...I wouldn't mind going back sometime and camping or staying in a log cabin.

Little Beth

Last week when we were talking about families I shared a picture of myself when I was younger with the kids and they really liked it so Mom sent me a bunch of other ones to share with the kids, they thought that some of them were certainly funny and that I was very cute in a couple of them :D

Sleeping

I was looking through pictures from my freshman year and I began to notice a recurrence in the pictures...and people say that college students never sleep :) Notice that many of them are Katie and Chelsea, there generally wasn't a night that they or someone else was asleep in our kitchen/living room, either us or Erin though for some reason I didn't see any of Erin sleeping :(
